Holiday Tournament:  Our Holiday Tournament was held Saturday, December 14^th. We played two-man teams, one best ball net, Stableford format with everyone playing from the #3 tees. Congratulations to the following teams:

Veteran’s Day Tournament/Annual Meeting:  Our delayed Annual Meeting and Veterans Day Tournament was held last Saturday, November 9th. This four-man team, two best ball format using the #2, #3, and #4 event was a very fun format requiring a lot of strategy to win. Congratulations to the winners in each of three flights.

• Flight 1 winners at -28 was Mike McClure, Bill Drabik, Bob Dolci, and Ken McDougall
• Flight 2 winners at -28 was Shel Rosenblum, Rich James, David Hathaway, and David Cook

Ryder Cup: WOW!!! What an amazing time we had this past weekend competing in the inaugural Men’s Club Ryder Cup format tournament with the top twenty-two (22) POY “point achievers” led by two Pro Shop Captains, Scott Steele and Alan Walsh. The wind was blowing, the competition was fantastic, and it was nice to see good sportsmanship displayed between the teams. Team Walsh prevailed 27-21, taking home the trophy (and a little cash)! Congratulations to the winning team of Alan Walsh, Arnold Bernal, Gary Chappell, Paul Swinson, John Butler, Michael Schwerin, George Welch, Gary Swenson, Chulho Kim, Jan Champion, Gary Sharps, and Mike Singleton!!!

Club Championship Tournament: Congratulations to our new Club Champion, Jim Holt, who won with a 5 and 4 victory in the hard fought, two-day battle. Scratch golf played from the #5 Tees brought out the best in both Jim and his opponent, Patrick Walter.
